At Ambien®, our dedication to sustainability is woven into every facet of our operations.

We are proud to be a certified Carbon Neutral company, partnering with Carbon Neutral Britain™ to carefully measure and offset our carbon footprint. Our leadership team is dedicated to reducing our environmental impact, and as part of this commitment, we’ve chosen to invest in global reforestation projects through the Woodland Fund.

One of the key initiatives we support is an exceptional reforestation project in Costa Rica. This project not only meets internationally recognised standards for carbon offsetting, but also provides immense ecological and socio-economic benefits for the local communities. Since its inception, the project has reclaimed 2,115 hectares of former pastureland, once used for cattle ranching, and transformed it into thriving forests.

More than 1,280 hectares have been reforested with over one million native trees, featuring 17 different species. These forests are managed sustainably, ensuring a continuous forest canopy and a rich diversity of fast-growing pioneer trees, medium-growth, and slow-growth shade trees. Our commitment to reforestation helps to restore ecosystems, combat deforestation, and create a more sustainable future for generations to come.
